Description of Hyrox Events

Each Hyrox event consists of a standardized format that includes:

  • 8x 1 km Runs: Participants run 1 kilometer between each workout station.

  • 8 Workout Stations: After each run, competitors complete a specific functional workout, which typically includes:

    • Rowing

    • Wall balls

    • Burpee broad jumps

    • Sandbag lunges

    • Farmers carry

    • sled push/pull

Scoring and Categories

Participants are timed throughout the event, with their total time determining their final score. Hyrox events offer various categories, including individual, doubles, and relay formats, allowing for a wide range of participation. There are also age and weight divisions to ensure fair competition.
